While we're on the subject of scams, if you get a call from ufindus.com hang
up immediately. Don't even say hello! They are utterly incompetent. Indeed,
possibly the worst company I've ever had the misfortune of having to deal
with.

I had a similar call from my bank (HSBC) a couple of weeks ago. "No
need to worry, it's just a courtesy call" said the guy. "You mean its a
sales call" says I. "No no" he assured me, "its a courtesy call to see
if we can help your business in any way. Would you have a couple of
minutes to talk?". "Go on then..." says I. "First I must ask you some
security questions... is that okay?"
My response was exactly the same as yours, Lee.
I was so irritated by this that I wrote to HSBC to complain about it.
Turns out it really was them. I got a bland corporate fob-off letter a
couple of weeks later to apologise and to tell me they wouldn't bother
me again.
I suggest you all do the same. They need to get the message that
telephone selling in this way really p*sses customers off! The very
idea that a greedy corporate like HSBC would employ thousands of people
just to make "courtesy" calls. Do they think we are stupid or what?
Best regards,
Ray
