no - but I'd contact Trading Standards if I was you.

Has anyone else had problems with a Liverpool company called Vardis?
I received a call earlier this year from them saying I had verbally
agreed to advertise with them. this agreement, of course never
happened. The caller got irritated and stated that the advert was
already in place (despite the call being made to ask for the artwork to
be verified).
When I asked for proof of the conversation, they informed me that they
didn't have any. I told them to get lost. They said they would be
taking me to court for the £500 I 'agreed' to pay.
They also told me to ring the number to get my name added to the no cold
calling database. 10 minutes later, they rang back, pretending to be
from whoever maintains the database, asking for my details again!
This week, I have received a letter from 'Crown Debt Recovery' stating
that they are taking court action for £55 + £45 costs. I have no idea
how the bill went from £500 to £55, but hey.
Now, the weird thing is that the email address of this company is a
btconnect one, and I can find no reference to them on the internet.
My guess is that its not a debt recovery team, but is in fact Vardis
playing games again, playing on the fact that it will cost me more than
£100 to go to a court in Liverpool.
Has anyone else here come across them?
Lee.
