RE: FN-FORUM: Outlook Web Access

date posted 1st August 2006 10:08

Hi Mac & Anthony

The strange thing about this is it used to work. The site hosting was split
off to an external host and they set up the records for the owa subdomain.

Although the email server works, I can't ping it, nor can I ping the owa
subdomain (points at the same server).

I tried the https://[EXTERNALIP]/exchange/[USER] it comes back with "the
page cannot be displayed and if I used the domain (www) it resolves back to
the external site host, with the owa as the subdomain it comes back as a
"page cannot be displayed"

Is this all pointing to the server or the host ?

Regards

Darren

Trying running https://[EXTERNALIP]/exchange/[USER]

Is port 443 open on the firewall?

Also make sure that you have permissions granted in IIS Default Website

Can you ping any domain on the server? If not you probably have ICMP
blocked by a firewall.
