Firstly, I said I did not wish to discuss this anymore, but can't let the
above go. I would like to know where you spent your time, and what you did?
I've lived with these people, and depended on them, Have you?
When I say most of them, that is exactly what I mean, forget those who
actually do it, and listen to what is being said NOT BY ME, BY THEM, (don't
do a Blair I'M LISTENING but never hears) I still have friends amongst them,
and they are loosing brothers [not literally] daily either directly or
in-directly as a result of our action or in-action.
--------------------------------
quote:
I have several friends in the armed forces who would be more that happy
to disagree with that rubbish.
--------------------------------
Don't do a political scam here, and ask your friends about those who have
died because of inferior or none existent equipment, or part-time soldiers
thrown [literally] into a combat zone with little if any relevant training
for that particular theatre, or are you one who believes ever soldier fights
any and every where? Climates and terrain play a major part in selecting the
correct troop to enter a theatre of war.
We don't have that luxury, because this government has given defence over
to the bl**dy Yanks. The military in the country inc, Army, Navy and
Airforce have been reduced by 55% over the last ten years. FACT.
Whether you lived in Israel or not, there is no way you can justify their
reaction of late other than by revenge. You may not be aware but governments
don't do revenge another Fact.
We are supposedly and independent democratic country, that is a joke.
The recent conflicts may or may not revolve around oil, I don't know, I do
know why Bush took the USA to war, to repay those who bought him the
presidency, namely the arms lobby in Yankee land. They need to sell more
arms and the military uses the most, look at how the war in Iraq started
there's your answer.
Learn to look at what you don't see and hear what isn't said, then you
begin to see the truth...
