Have you actually a "real" address for them or is it a "virtual
customer" you are dealing with? Is it a private individual or a firm?
If you haven't it might be worth checking the WHOIS for the domain they
are trading under (if they have their own domain name).
Problem is its not uncommon for trading individuals and companies to
hide under a private registrations or in the case of a UK domain opt out
their address out of the whois altogethor.
A few weeks ago I came across a limited company, selling dedicated
servers online and although they were listed as the registrant of a
co.uk domain, their registrant type was "UK Individual" and of course
they had opted their address out of the public whois.
I always check this and also if they have valid contact or address
details on their website (required for distance selling regs). If they
haven't it raises alarm bells with me even though it might be down to error.
