Pardon my ignorance but what does overloaded mean in this instance?=20

In this instance Microsoft have a separate application table which uses
a GUID as a primary key and then adds that key along with the client id
to any relevant tables. I'm actually in the process of writing an
overloaded version of this system as I ACTUALLY need to share clients
among the applications as they sign up to have access to a group of
websites!!
