There's been posts like this before Mike so a scan of the archives may
assist. What part of the land are you?
Pricing, especially to start, averages £180-230 per day, £25/30 per hour. It
depends on the type of work. If it's special and you can do it, charge
higher.
Though I've recently put answers to your other questions on a website (not
yet released) I'll leave it to others to answer project management issues.
Get contracts, especially sign-off documents for each stage.
