RE: FN-FORUM: New Freelancer - Help or adviced required

Nice looking site, although the actual content only fills a fraction of it -
personally I'd ditch the woody and shift it all up a bit. Looking at the
grab I wouldn't suggest putting pricing on the website. Let people contact
you and give them a price for a task or job.
If someone offers you a large chunk of work, you may do it for less. Some
clients will ask for fixed price rather than a daily.
Best of luck with freelancing.

Peter,
Thanks very much for your response, and for your feedback on the site. I do
hope to be able to improve on it soon, but it really was an issue of getting
something up and running as fast as I could without compromising on the
design too much.
I do take your point about the woody...but he's just...well...woody! Also,
with regard to the pricing aspect of the site, I was not intending to put
any pricing on the site at all but, just as you suggested, put some generic
information about how I can quote for each and every individual
project...please contact me, etc etc.
And thanks for the "Best of Luck"...hopefully I'll start getting some
responses real soon.
Kind regards
Mike
