unless they are still using OS9, in which case they don't have a lot of
choice. many developers aren't supporting Mac IE5 any more, but several of
my web stats suggest quite a high proportion of mac users are still on OS9.

i think certain industry sectors are slower to upgrade to OSX e.g. music
production - OS9 macs are quite common due to legacy hardware setups etc.
