After considerable research and testing, the software we selected was

It depends what you mean by low cost but I don't think you will find a
suitable *cheap* solution.
Drop me a line off-list if you would like more information or to be put
in contact with someone at Tribeca. I can also put you in touch with the
agency I work with that specialise in marketing this area and have
recently been responsible for the successful launch of Poker in the Pub
> www.pokerinthepub.com which is coming to the end of a successful
first league and soon to hold the regional finals. People may have seen
the recent Dragon's Den programme where somebody won financial backing
for the same idea. That particular league was located around a single
area and I think had about 1000 players over a period of 12 months. The
Poker in the Pub league has been running for about 11 weeks and
currently has over 1500 players so the marketing has been very
successful and is looking forward to a second league, they have even
been featured on Radio 1 newsbeat who went along to one of the nights
and Card Player magazine.
