Given the hassle involved in trying to get people to explain their=20
problems (not their broken solutions) I don't think it's a matter of
common sense. It's certainly not a question of brains; there's one
newsgroup I'm on which is stuffed full of clever people and hardly=20
any of them ever states the goal. After all, they're smart, they
know they are, and they know that they have already identified
the optimal solution, so why waste everybody's time explaining
the problem?

Get out of bed the wrong side this morning?
