FN-FORUM: Adobe contribute

Hi,
With adobe contribute, is it a client side app or a server side app.
Where are the changes stored ? I've a client who wants to regularly
update the text on their site so one option is to implement contribute
but we have problems with our firewall and their non-fixed IP address
getting blocked. Ideally I'd like the time (and money) to implement a
very simple CMS so the other option is something that's very simply
implemented. It can be DB driven (SQL server / MSDE) and I have full
admin rights. The rest of the site is aspx.

Thoughts etc.
