ask yourself where this will end up and then be an early adopter.
email started out as E-mail
so my vote goes for just adding the e to make a compound word and
getting used to it, so it's ecommerce or Ecommerce as far as I'm concerned.
of course just using the word makes you sound geeky.
for ordinary people why not use "on-line sales" or "Internet Shopping"
