FN-FORUM: Email issues: can you host your email separately from the web site?

Morning all,

A bit of an issue really. I have just moved a client's website (and
therefore email as well) to a new hosting company only to find that
their email services are piss poor and emails are taking ages to
deliver...
Rather than going through the pain of moving the whole site again, I
was wondering if I could use another company to take care of the
client's email accounts.. How would this work, with one company
hosting the web site and the other the email? Also, if you have any
recommendations of British email companies, then please do tell!
