Do a project plan with short, measurable milestones (maybe broken down into
a daily plan). Make it visible to you.. Maybe a sticky not on pc. Disclose
your plan of action to someone (wife/ girlfriend/ colleague/ client). You're
more likely to be disciplined and keep to a plan if you've got people
'watching' you along the way. It's generally good I find to verbally discuss
and mull over a project with a close person, especially non techy people. I
find I get interesting feedback, it keeps me on my toes, helps me solve
problems from new angles, and encourages thinking outside the box.
