Re: FN-FORUM: all alone in the big city....

Hi Webmetric,

hehe, funny one ..there is sooo much to see between Paddington & Tooting bec
it's not even funny.

..BUT, the key to get to your client & back flawlessly is to remember it's
PEAK hour! ..so u gonna be sardined in with commuters, and honestly please
rely on DELAYS - ..as there are always delays, so plan 15-30min arrival in
advance. on your way back visit the Natural History Museum or the London
Aquarium (always a treat), although they take forever to get through so
dunno how much time u have? forget the bars & clubs because of the time of
day it's a no go. The Wallace Gallery is very cool (just down from Baker
Str) and it's close to Paddington St so it's an easy return. otherwise head
for oxford str and perusal HMV - always a blast but u gotta have cash on
hand cos to leave without buying anything is a sin:))

* Best get a 1-4 zone travel card after 9am in Paddington- it's cheaper!
(tooting bec is in zone 3 so 1-4 is prerequisite)
* You should have made your meeting on or after 11pm (future reference -
just cos of the commute & cost)
* Don't worry about pocket-lifters, just keep yourself zipped up and it's
fine. ..it's not THAT bad.

have fun!
