There ar e few ways of doing this, other suggestion ive read seem fine but
you also use adobe premier (pro version is better) you even use something as
simple as the adobe image ready u get free with photoshop but adobe premier
is what I use for create dvd slide shows and then adobe encore to create the
dvd menu and final file.

Let me know how it goes

Martin.

Subject: FN-FORUM: Dvd photo slideshow creator (preferably os x 10.2 but can
use windows)

Hello

I am having a bad day

I am using os x 10.2 and have been asked to create a dvd from some images
that I have retouched, not a problem I thought, and was given a suitably
small budget for a seemingly simple task

Has anyone got a sucessful way of doing this - no matter what I do it
doesn¹t work exac tly how I want

Firstly I resized all my images to 576x720 sRGB profile which I assume is
good for PAL work, and then tried several methods,

1. I thought of idvd - but it will not work on my system

2. I tried imovie - but the quality was terrible

3. I tried dvd studio pro - decent quality - perhaps the images are too
sharp as there is a certain amount of flicker which is sorted out by
blurring the troublesome areas

4. I have now resorted to trying products on the pc - I tried one called dvd
studio slideshow (www.dvd-photo-slideshow.com/) - but the images come out
really soft

5. I am just going to try pinnacle studio

So if anyone can help me or has sucessfully done this - can they recoomend a
product - it is a series of catwalk images, id it common for detailed areas
to create a 'flicker' problem, at the moment I am thinking that I will apply
a small blur to all images and send it to the client - who complains that it
is flickering on their system - however it plays fine on mine

Argggggh
