OK, well, it was just a hunch and a suggestion. If you Google around,
you'll find that problems with the old Microsoft.VisualBasic like CDate
conversion functions do exist - have a search for CDate on dotnet247.com.

How big a problem is this for you? Have you thought about building a VM
(using VMWare or VirtualPC) with an Italian version of XP and whatever else
the user has installed?
