For the visually impared large amounts of text would be hard to read so
audio would be good.
As for your "websites for the blind, WTF!". What happens there is someone
will help with the navigation but when it comes to large amounts of text
that needs readin and you are in a place that doesnt have the resources for
'enough screen readers' then having the text in audio format is a big help.
Yes that doesnt happen much any more but that doesnt mean it doesnt exsist,
adding the audio is pretty simple and wouldnt hurt, would be a big help for
some people - Think about it!
