I sat a seminar a while ago about accessibility, the company had put
ideas like the text resizer bar to a panel of users with sight
difficulties and then presented their results in the seminar.
Apparently, out of a panel of 40ish users, no one used the text resizer.
What they found was that the panel all had their own way of working,
keyboard shortcuts, own software, etc. They finished by saying that time
would be better spent making the site as accessible as possible for
screen readers with regards to markup, layout etc.
This maybe all rubbish, but it kinda made sense to me.
