I think they've mashed up several regulations and the new directive on
disclosure requirements and made it sound like *every* company needs to
do something.
IMHO you need to decide:
what sort of company you are
what sort of service you are providing with your website
which regulations apply to you.
IANAL and there seem to be several complicated statutes applying to
disclosure of company information, the recent directive seems just to
extend those to apply to websites.
NB one source of advice (no matter how authoritative it sounds) doesn't
always make it true.
The Out-law site seems to be a publicity machine for Pinsent Masons, but
the trail of information is very hard to follow.
I haven't been able to find any useful summaries of this *new*
requirement from other sources.

decide what sort of company you are and then seek out which regulations
apply to you....
