now even smaller at 145 bytes, thanks to Cole Henley, who says:

"If you remove the 'width: 100%' (display: block is automatically full
width unless otherwise specified) and only put one 50% for the
background position (CSS assumes vertical is 50% if only one value is
stated) you can get it down to 145 bytes."
