What I'm actually trying to achieve is a screensaver, flash based, with all
the usual moving/tweening images and such, but I would like to incorporate
an RSS Feed scrolling box on it as well.

I have the RSS feed address, and was hoping that I could just paste that
somewhere in some handy code LOL

Any suggestions appreciated.

Flash can easily read data from files and DB tables, so I don't see
why you can't incorporate an RSS feed. what are you trying to achieve?
