Tam,
Terrible server specifications, to be honest. Not enough RAM to run
everything "comfortably", in my opinion (assuming Apache, PHP, MySQL
and SMTP/POP3/IMAP all on one box), and lack of control panel means
you'll presumably need someone knowledgeable enough to manage the
entire thing
RE: The comments about Fedora, it's absolutely fine as a server OS.
The typical services aren't updated that often enough to cause any
harm what so ever. The only issue I'd ever experienced with it was a
bad kernel causing memory leaks, but even that has been patched now.
I've been using it fine for years.
Anyway, back to the point of this post, you get what you pay for.
It's cheap because the specifications are crap, and it's more than
likely an old/reused box, therefore it's going to be less reliable
than something with modern specs. However, if someone just wants to
run a few quiet websites on it, I'm sure it's more than adequate.
