Linux box as the firewall.
There is two PCI Ethernet ports on the box and this will be leading into a
Cisco 2900 XL switch....

If you only intend to use the machine as the firewall, I'd say trash
the OS, and install a dedicated firewall distro. If you ain't an

Ok, I have taken a look and I can use the system to set DHCP, the only
reason why I was not going to was due to the fact that my router/modem does
it already but I can turn that feature off.
