Re: FN-FORUM: steve wilson - freelance website

Dom,
I was thinking of changing the website to a single page, but didnt get round
to it, but found that most people that were looking at my work wanted to see
the quality of my 3d and so werent too bothered if a window came up. I think
also it really is a matter of opinion.
As 3d is my main skill, flash being something of a secondary skill, I just
wanted to get the site up and so not really aware of how other people see my
site, but I have a fair amount of work through it, so I guess a number of
people can't be having problems.
No html page because basically, Im too lazy to create a duplicate html
version, althought I think putting contact details on the front end of the
website is a good idea.
Lastly, this is my first ever post, so wasnt aware of deleting tags, but i
am now...thanks

One: it's got an "enter" link. I hates these. I want the site, not
something
that I have to click on first.
Two: I click on it, it opens a new window. I don't want a new window.
Three: it tells me I need Flash. I've got Flash. I just don't have version
8. And by going straight to
www.stevesideas.net/flashnav.swf
I see that it would probably work fine in version 7 if it was tweaked a bit.
Four: there is no alternate HTML. Not even a page with your
phone number / address.
