Hi,
I would suggest changing the RDP port for your work PC and setup a forward
to the internal ip address for the work PC then connect through rdp to
PCNAME:PORTNO
This is how I connect to my home...

I changed port 3389 to point to my works pc now and then I can remote access
the mail server from that, beats having to setup 2 remote connections!

Aha RDP to more than one PC behind a router!! It's possible to change the
RDP port on one PC (or both) (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306759) and
simply forward both ports and setup a different conn...

You just need to forward port 3389 (the same way your probably forwarding
ports for email like 25 and 110 etc.) to the internal IP of your work
machine (e.g. 192.168.1.21)

I have done the exact thing to connect to my works network.
Basically I connect to the internet facing machine (in your case the
mail server). I connect via ssh using Putty.
With Putty you can setup...
