No its not. Its users just wanting to get a job done online and not giving a
stuff (or not even knowing) about what standards the site they are using
does or does not employ. I don't have facts to back this up (obviously) but
I'd be stunned if more than a small percentage of Net users where aware of
standards and which sites do and do not adhere to them.
Usability is key not standards - the two are not necessarily the same.
