Absolutely vital, IMO. Go to Business link, speak to an accountant
(most offer some free time), read up on the web, read a book... there
are lots to be found in waterstones's business section.
Public limited company generally has stocks and shares available to
buy as an investment. Private limited company keeps its shares
privately owned. I would imaging private limited company is the way
to go in the first instance. If you do well you can then 'float' the
company on the stock exchange and become 'public'.
