Unfortunately, there is support for Andrew's contention. I have noticed more
than a few PHP developer's who fail to communicate, abandon projects, are
slow and ineffective - unprofessional. Thankfully, professionals are
apparent by their attitude from the outset.

I wonder if this is a reason why too many large organisations go the .NET
route, even with all the problems that go with it.

I am rather hoping the rise of RoR will separate the PHP wheat from the
chaf.
