FN-FORUM: PHP developer rates
date posted 10th October 2007 16:03
Hi all,
I'm afraid this is a very loose mail which I hope won't get me shot down
for sending to the forum rather than posting a project-which I have also
done.
I've just had a call from a client who's been let down by another
developer and needs some urgent PHP work done. He knows little about web
development so I don't have a brief or design as yet. Apparently there
is one which I will see tomorrow morning.
Basically he's looking for a PHP calendar to be added to an existing
site. It will need login facilities so that authorised users can add
events to the calendar which I gather they want to display via pop ups.
I don't believe it will need that much work-probably something in the
region of 20 hours. There is on-going work if we work well together as
there is definitely one other PHP site of approx 75 hours which needs
doing too so I'd be grateful if any UK based PHP developers could
contact me off-list with a ball park figure for their hourly rates on
these projects so I can go in better prepared tomorrow morning- again
please contact me off-list so as not to clog up the forum.
Again apologies to any who object to my posting on here-but I urgently
need the info from other developers on here.
Thanks
Paul
