You've still been scammed then.
takes money, promises big income, distracts you with something for
nothing (I can give you ten or twenty sites on Accessibility and for
£50 I'd give you one to one email support to answer questions on
what's best practice. (no guaranteed work though!)
then the contact stops, or the work is delayed, or you're not good
enough, or they are oversubscribed....
smells like a scam, tastes like a scam, looks like a scam, probably is
a scam.
