Hi Alex sorry for the digression.

I inplemeted lightbox2 for a site recently and was terribly confused for
about 4 hours.

Check that the css files are accessible from your template as I had
stuff appearing at the bottom of the page - I had mistyped a url for the
css file, but it looked too similar to the correct one(I am a bit
dyslexic) an so I did't spot it for ages.

Also make sure that it can see the javascript too.

Firefox extensions should be a help here as you can easily follow the
javascript. And check that the CSS is being loaded.
