Sorry about the English idom, It is as long as a piece of string ie
fairly undefined.

It depends on your client, who you might be in copetition with, where
you ae selling to Ie $ would suggest outside the UK.

I would usually work out in hours how long it will take me to.
add about 50% if I am not sure or the client is not absoutley sure of
the spec

work out what that would be from a minimun hourly rate I would charge,
and the rate I would like to charge, and then settle on something inbetween.

Your description of the spec is vague, will you be building the
database or does it exist already? what sort of admin functions will be
necessary. Write your own detailed spec to work out how many hours it
will take.
