this HAS been an issue for me with a .info domain, even when the site
content/relevance is obviously UK-centric, and all page titles, meta tags
etc. contain "UK" all over he place.
google is still not properly indexing it as a UK site.
so, if your UK client wants a .info domain and the hosting server is not in
the UK you may have problems with google.
but as others have said, this shouldn't really be an issue with .co.uk (as
the domain should define the location more than anything else).
