Hi All

I have a question regards remote desktop,

I have just received several Quadcore PC's and I am installing software, I
want to use remote desktop rather than getting down on my knees each time
and pulling monitor wires keyboards mouse, etc

The problem I am having is that it's a bit temperamental connecting remote
desktop via machine name so I am using the machines IP address which works
fine until the machine assigns another IP address when its booted back up
again, If I assign an IP address then my software does not work correctly,
as its 3d animation based and the main workstation cannot see the render
machines,

On the Microsoft site it states that you can easily connect using remote
desktop via machine name but it doesn't not seem to work for me,

Has anyone else had success in this area?
