Personally, I always go with Wordpress. It's an absolute doddle to =20
install and set up the basics, and I can get one done in about ten to =20
fifteen minutes all told.
Theme customisation on WP is easy too - OK, you've got to figure out =20
some stuff the first time round, but once there, you're good to go. =20
I've recently been re-learning the templating guff with WP (having =20
been using WP since 1.0, I've installed five blogs in the last three =20
months, all using WP2.3, and there was a bit of a re-learning curve at =20
that point) and it's easy enough to get to grips with.
I haven't used MT for a while, but I'm not keen on it. The people I =20
talk to on a regular basis prefer WP to MT for a number of reasons, =20
but editing the templates is high on that list.
Also, MT (if memory serves) needs to recompile the pages on a regular =20
basis and on every update (which also takes time), and thus =20
post-dating posts and the like are an absolute swine. With WP it's =20
easy, just change the datestamp and it's done.
