Look Adam I'm going to be brutally honest, if you think your response was
appropriate I'd suggest you have the social skills of a goat.
We all started somewhere. The fact that Pam had the guts to put her work up
for critique say's to me she is on the right path and has probably learnt
quite a bit from the "constructive criticism" she has received. Anyone
considering doing the same after reading your response would no doubt think
twice about it.
If you care about helping someone out in this area (judging from your
lengthy response top Pam's original email you no doubt do) than maybe try to
light the fires of inspiration rather than put them out.
