I'm sure the main images are being used in the design. No-one's
disputed that. However, there's still a whole bundle of spacer.gif
files referenced in that source code.

Even more impressively, they all seem to be jammed in together with
no other images between them - so I'm not *quite sure what they're
spacing. And no ALT tag (sorry, attribute) either.

To me, it looks like the sometimes-bizarre
attempts MS Word makes at saving HTML. Looks like .NET does the same
kind of thing.
