I would go straight to an apple store.
Either a macbook or a mac pro would do. If you go to www.apple.com/uk
Take a look at the products you can see how they can be configured.
I would also say GO FOR IT.
I have 2 mac's and they are cracking pieces of kit. They are both
about 2-3 years old, but they are still bullet proof.
Go for it.
