RE: FN-FORUM: Which Mac?
date posted 21st January 2008 14:33
I bought my macbook last year.
Not a macbook pro, just the bog standard macbook. I use it only for graphic
design, web design and music production. I bought for its simplicity to use.
Basically you're ready to be creative out of the box. I have undergone
several projects at once and my macbook is yet to crash and yet to show
signs of slowing down. It depends on the size and complexity of your
projects. But I cannot fault my macbook in any way whatsoever.
I have recently moved up on to QuarkXpress and Logic Express but the iLife
creative suites are some of the best out there!
Happy to discuss,
Tobi

Subject: FN-FORUM: Which Mac?
Hello Gang,
And a happy new year to you all (would have said this earlier but was
struck down by every virus SE London could muster).
I am breaking tradition and veering away from my usual PC toward a Mac.
However, my knowledge of them is limited at best and thus I am asking
for your assistance in choosing the right one. It'll be mainly for
graphic design, some web design and possible a bit of music production.
Will a MacBook suffice or do I need a Mac Pro? Also, are there any
places you can recommend from where to procure such machines?
Many thanks,
J
