I bought an OEM version of winxp 64 for my desktop. It just means that
there is no support, manual or any of the gubbings that come with the
retail version. I think the oem versions that come pre-installed on
various laptops/desktops are tailored by the company selling that
equipment (just to make more money). Buying an oem version doesnt
actually mean you can only install on one computer, if you bought it as
a standalone piece of software.
