FN-FORUM: CSS Madness - split topic here
date posted 20th February 2008 09:48
Is it just me, or is life just easier using tables (prepares himself to
be flamed by purists)? Until ALL browser developers work together and
decide on a common method of using CSS, isn't life just too damned hard
to use pure CSS? Even if you get it all working fine, out comes IE7 and
blows your web pages apart. Not so bad if you only have a few websites,
but if you have dozens or even hundreds, the re-work is just damned scary!
Sadly, I hold my hand up and admit to using tables more often than I
"should" - just because they work! Before you give me the old -
splitting data and layout argument; how often in reality, do you change
the finished layout of a site to make this an issue?
Right - now flame me :)
