I presume (hope!) you mean =A370 for the CMS add-on, not for the whole =
site
build?=20
The price you charge for the CMS add-on needs to reflect:
- The increased hosting cost you incur (if you are hosting).
- The cost of creating the design template for the CMS (partic if it's =
not
home-grown).
- The cost of configuring the CMS to the client's needs (partic if not
home-grown).
- Increased overheads of creating CMS pages vs static pages (depending =
on
your workflow).
- IMPORTANT: The maintenance revenue you will lose as a result.
- We often find on-going maintenance is more lucrative than flogging =
a
CMS add-on.
The last point is crucial: if you give the client a means of updating =
the
site themselves, they are obviously less likely to need your help in =
future
/ be willing to sign up to an MSA.
