I use Joomla myself, but this may be overboard for your requirements
and tricky for you to set up if you've no experience in this area.
Can you provide a little more information? Does the client want to
generate direct sales from the site (ie: eCommerce). Is it a
portfolio to help generate bespoke commission enquiries? Or is it
more of a personal site with no specific commercial application?
