RE: FN-FORUM: Ecommerce - joomla/virtuemart vs Zen Cart
date posted 8th March 2008 11:12
Morning John,
How about using www.ecommercetemplate.com , ok, its not a freebie like =
osC
etc, with the script integrates easily with Dreamweaver designs etc; =
also it
can be easily modified to allow for CMS addition of pages - its not =
actually
built into the script but I could perhaps send you some samples to work =
it
out yourself.
Some examples of sites I've done using it include:
www.Bluesuntree.co.uk
www.blueberrycottage.co.uk/index.php
Let me know if you need any info
Good luck
Allan

Subject: FN-FORUM: Ecommerce - joomla/virtuemart vs Zen Cart
Hi there
I have most probably asked this question or something similar before, I =
am
looking for some kind of CMS system with Ecommerce capabilities, I have
successfully got Zen Cart to work with the payment gateway, but I =
don=B9t know
how to successfully use my own CSS template design - does anyone have =
some
great resources to learn more on this subject.
Alternatively do any of you have an opinion on Joomla/Virtuemart, and =
should
I investigate this option rather than ZC.
My problem is that I created a website for someone with a bespoke design
which they really like, and they now are thinking about adding Ecommerce
capabilities, but don=B9t want to alter the design - which may be =
wishful
thinking. As he is a family friend, I don=B9t really want to say I cant =
help
...
Any hints or links much appreciated
