Re: FN-FORUM: CSS tutorials - branch - layout query
date posted 12th March 2008 14:12
On the matter of CSS layout. I asked a question a few days back, but
no-one could answer it. I have a site where I have a container div
centred on the page with a max width to stop it getting silly. Cool in FF.
If I resize the font in the browser, in FF still cool. In IE7, the div
moves off centre.
Looking at an example on
http://www.positioniseverything.net/articles/pie-maker/pagemaker_2_9_home.html;
it does the same. So is this non-fixable in IE7?
Try the url above. Ctrl- to reduce font and see what I mean; the div
moves left of centre. Ctrl+ and it moves right of centre.
My domain in question is bagenhamfarm.co.uk - behaves the same way and
it's very annoying!
