Is the real concern that people will download the images and not buy the
art? Is it digital art, with you selling downloads?
You could alter the images with image filters. Perhaps blur them a bit,
or save them at a low JPEG quality level to produce a lot of artefacts.
I think that if you're selling physical art, a small but clear photo of it
would be necessary for people to know what they're buying.
