What does it matter how much traffic you get?
It's free to add the buttons and free to submit your site to the likes of
DIGG. So even a trickle of visitors is better than nothing. R

I've added the addthis.com bookmark to a number of niche social networking
sites.
Can't see at the moment evidence that they've generated any traffic at all.
But they do add that 'web 2.0' communit...
