Just got in and this looked like a nice little project before I head off =
to
bed.=20
Is this the kind of thing you're after. Sorry, I haven't read many of =
the
other related posts so I don't know if I'm treading on anyone's toes =
here.
Two html versions, one black background and one white, one swf (check =
the
source), to demonstrate the transparency:

Rendered the 3d animation thorugh a parallel projection camera (to =
simulate
the isometric perspective of the example) in C4d with sketch & toon for =
the
outlines with alpha channel as psd's, imported into AFX to convert to
uncompressed avi (could have rendered straight to avi, but this is my
preferred workflow so I can apply colour correction etc in AFX). =
Imported
into Flash and tada.=20
I'd really like to get to grips with these 3d flash renderers when I get
some spare time, would really open up some opportunities.

I posted a while ago about a job I needed to outsource. The job involved
creating a vector based (3d) animation in flash of an "Impossible" cube =

use on a clients site, I also posted it to a couple of job boards and =
quite
honestly I was blown away by how little response to the job postings I =
got,
I expected at least a few "overseas" offers but really nothing and the
people I did contact (even though no mention of budget was made) either
couldn't do it or didn=92t respond.
That may have some indication of the speciality skills required to do =
the
job or maybe it=92s the time of year I don=92t know.
Anyway I'm giving it one last shot to see if anyone can provide the =
services
and skills required. If you know anyone who is good at 3D and Flash
animation please pass this on email on.=20
- Job Spec -
To create a 3D spinning cube in flash or more precisely an impossible =
cube
(Preferably interactive but would settle for just an animation). The =
cube is
part of a logo and will probably be fairly large on a splash page but =
may
also be as part of the logo on each page. (This should be considered =
when
developing)

The above is an animated graphic (.gif bitmap) supplied by the client to
base it on, but the quality is bad and we would want something with 3D
lighting effects (reflective) and as a vector based flash as it needs to
load quickly but it should give anyone interested a very good idea of =
how
the animation works. We also want options in the flash object to tell it =
to
start animated or only animate on mouse over.
